Tecno Elettrica Ravasi, T.E.R., footswitches are control systems for industrial machines. All T.E.R. footswitches are designed to act as an On-Off switch. The advantage of footswitches is that an operator can toggle the power to a machine while their hands are occupied. Each T.E.R. footswitch comes with at least one normally closed (positive opening) contact and one normally open contact to ensure that the unit is prepared to function directly as a control device and through a PLC interface. These footswitches are normally used for industrial automation. T.E.R. footswitches are available with standard and large foot guards. The large foot guards are ideal for use with steel-toed work boots. The foot guards are made of either a resilient thermoplastic or die-cast aluminum. All T.E.R. footswitches are built on a solid metal base. All microswitches included with T.E.R. footswitches are CE and cULus certified.
