PES (polyester) static rope is designed for a variety of low stretch, static vertical support applications, like adventure and utility climbing, caving, rescue operations, or confined space entry. Its seven-strand, tubular-braided construction enhances durability, while the 7/16'' diameter provides superior strength without excessive weight. Each 600-foot spool contains enough rope to reach significant heights, making it convenient for extended excursions or industrial tasks requiring long, dependable lengthwise coverage. The static nature of PES eliminates sags and slippage under tension, maintaining constant orientation at full capacity; thus, providing a steady, predictable ascent or descent surface in any circumstance.
Use STERLING ROPE HTP static rope in applications requiring maximum strength such as tower construction, raising systems, bridge work, and industrial safety. The 7/16" HTP is a multi-use rescue and rappel rope that is inherently dry and resists chemical and abrasion damage. High-tenacity 100% polyester (HTP) static kernmantle construction gives this rope extremely low stretch and excellent durability. Polyester also resists moisture and UV degradation.
