The STI SpecSeal SSS Firestop Sealant is an innovative intumescent firestop sealant perfect for any combustible or noncombustible penetrants. Offering 2-stage intumescent technology, this premium water-based sealant ensures up to a 4 hour fire resistance rating when tested to ASTM E814/UL 1479. The firestop sealant is easy to apply into tight spaces between penetrants and compatible with CPVC piping. It can be sanded and painted to match surrounding environments, making it the perfect solution for multiple through-penetration UL tested systems. SpecSeal SSS is ideal for applications in commercial, residential, and industrial buildings where a reliable fire protection sealant is required.
