Featuring excellent heat insulation and fire protection, this UNITHERM ceramic fiber insulation has low thermal conductivity, low thermal capacity, and excellent handling strength. The ceramic fiber material is manufactured with pure alumina-silica to form a continuous blanket, mechanically sewed with a double needle in order to provide greater integrity to the surface on both sides of the blanket. Material is asbestos free and it has a shorter heat up and cool down time. Blanket provides good flexibility to ease installation and is ideal for use in high-temperature pipe insulation applications.
