The Decarb-Free Tool Steel Round features a diamond cross section design, a heat treatable material for optimal edge holding abilities that can hold an edge up to 60-62 HRC, making it ideal for various demanding applications in the Metal industry. This round has 5/8 flat on one end and is often utilized for sawblade maintenance such as sharpening, cutting through materials or removing scale while leaving carbide tips undamaged, saving time and effort. O-1 high carbon, chromium tool steel composition renders the tool steel ideal for the removal of surface imperfections on hardened high speed steels and carbon steels up to Rc 68 without altering edges.
