The handle on these ratcheting tap wrenches can be turned and then repositioned without lifting the wrench. They can be used in tight spaces and allow taps to be turned more quickly than non-ratcheting tap wrenches. The handle can be locked in a fixed position and slides from side to side for left- or right-hand ratcheting. This allows the wrenches to be turned in spaces where a standard straight handle or a fixed T-handle would not have room to turn.
