Jobber Drill #9 HSS MPN:4UL79
Jobber Drill #9 HSS
Wire-size drill bits come in standard sizes that correspond to American Wire Gauge (AWG) sizes. The larger the wire size, the smaller the bit. These drill bits have a black-oxide finish that retains lubricants to improve the bits' wear resistance and chip flow. Black-oxide bits should only be used for drilling ferrous metals. The bits' spiral flutes evacuate chips as the bits drill into a workpiece, and their straight shank installs into a drill chuck or similar toolholder.
