Tapered End Mill Single End 3/8 Carbide MPN:87572

These tapered square end mills are made from carbide steel. They offer excellent wear resistance and heat resistance, and they are harder than cobalt steel tapered square end mills. They have a tapered cutting head with a square nose and can be used for plunging, side milling, contouring, and machining angled slots.

Tapered end mills create slots or grooves with tapered walls in a workpiece. They have a conical cutting head that is wider at the base than the tip. Each end mill has flutes on its cutting head that carry chips away from the workpiece to prevent damage to the end mill or workpiece.
